A glimpse.

I am partial to Alberta’s wildflowers; I love their resilience and beauty. I’ve always been amazed at the level of resilience, for example, a wild sunflower growing on the windy Alberta prairies has; or dainty Blue-Belles on the side of a busy highway.  At just the right time, they know it’s their turn to be brilliant.

Why I Create.

The wonderful gift of agency; I get to choose the subject, colour, texture and size of whatever I decide to create. Creating is freedom.

Noticing and appreciating my interactions with this world, then finding my interpretations of them.

The magnetic and unexplainable pull, where I feel closer to my creator.

A willingness to keep going and finding out more about my creative process.

My art colliding and speaking to a new or repeat collector is completely amazing, and never to be taken for granted!

Creating a space that is: calming, inspiring, invigorating, and unique is important to me. After a long day of being out, I love coming home. Being surrounded by meaningful art plays a large role in making my house a home.
